Art and War Conference (2022, 2023)

A public sculpture and discussion format created to openly debate the role of art during wartime. In busy public spaces, people were invited to sit on a sculptural installation and discuss the responsibilities and limits of art in times of war.

The project began in Lviv in collaboration with the Municipal Art Centre, followed by a second edition in Berlin’s Steinplatz. It was developed during the research for the film For Better Times about the Ukrainian art scene under war.
