Reading Faust (2025)

A participatory performance in which passers-by in front of the library in Nachod, Czech Republic, were given Goethe’s Faust and asked to read a chosen sentence or page aloud — even though most of them could not understand German.

The action was filmed and presented as a video installation in the gallery. During the exhibition, visitors were invited to continue the performance by reading from the book through a megaphone.
